We’re thrilled to announce that world-renowned KPOP dance creators and YouTube sensations Ellen and Brian will be our official judges!
This is your chance to perform in front of two of the biggest names in the KPOP dance scene.

- 1st Place: $500

We are accepting both Solo and Group applications. If accepted, all dance teams must register in advance to confirm their participation and receive the exact number of free event tickets for members only.

Submit a demo video, music track, and group information via the official submission form.
Application deadline: August 1, 2025
All music must be K-pop songs or K-pop-style remixes.
Edits must be clean (no profanity or explicit content).

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees, KPOP MINNECON requires all applicants and participants to be at least 13 years old at the time of the event.
Ages 13–15: Must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian throughout the duration of the event.
Ages 16 and up: May attend independently.
This policy applies to all performers, vendors, and general participants. Parent or guardian supervision for younger attendees helps us maintain a safe environment in accordance with venue and event policies.

Please carefully read the following:
ALLOWED
- Any officially released KPOP song
Your own choreography
Solo or group performances
Up to 5 minutes max for performance time
Time limit: 5 minutes or less per performance.
No costume changes allowed on stage during the performance.
Props are allowed but must be pre-approved and safe for stage use.
Dance covers must stay true to K-pop genre themes, but original choreography is welcome.
Groups must be ready backstage 15 minutes before their scheduled slot.

Non-KPOP songs
Songs over 5 minutes in length
Duplicate song choices
Unregistered day-of performances
Please note: First come, first served: Song rights go to the first approved applicant for that track. If a duplicate occurs, we will request the later group to choose a different song.
KPOP MINNECON reserves the right to request a change if a selected song does not meet our standards or criteria.

Each registered dancer will receive a free entry ticket to the convention — but please note the following:
During registration, you must submit the full names of all performers.
Names must match a valid ID at check-in to claim your free ticket.
No name changes will be accepted after the deadline.
Free tickets are only issued for confirmed performers — no extras or transfers allowed.

All performances will be filmed and may be used in future promotions or media. By participating, you agree to the following:
KPOP MINNECON and RiverCentre assume no liability for injury, loss, or damages related to your performance.
Participation implies consent to be filmed and photographed during the event.

1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will receive cash prizes, and official recognition on stage.
Professional photos and video footage of your performances shared on all platforms.
Winning performances will be featured on KPOP MINNECON’s official YouTube channel and social media platforms.
Winners and standout performers may be highlighted in post-event media coverage and promotional content.

No dangerous stunts, flips, or lifts that could risk injury to performers or audience.
All props and footwear must be safe and non-damaging to the stage.
No smoke machines, fire, liquids, or glitter/confetti cannons allowed.
Respect all fellow competitors, staff, and volunteers.
Any behavior deemed disruptive or unsafe may result in disqualification.

All submitted materials (music, video, group info) must be final—no changes will be accepted after the submission deadline.
Groups must be ready and checked in 15 minutes before their scheduled performance time.
All accepted performances, videos, and images become the sole property of KPOPMINNECON. By participating, you grant KPOPMINNECON full rights to use this content for promotional, archival, and commercial purposes.
KPOPMINNECON will not be held liable for any injuries, lost items, or damages incurred before, during, or after the event.
Any group that fails to follow competition rules or demonstrates inappropriate behavior may be subject to disqualification at the discretion of event staff.

Please note that each dance performer may only compete once in the competition. Multiple entries by the same individual, whether in solo or group performances, are not permitted.
All participants acknowledge that they are performing at their own risk. By entering the competition, performers agree not to hold KPOPMINNECON or Saint Paul RiverCentre, or any of their affiliates, organizers, or partners liable for any injuries, accidents, or losses that may occur during or as a result of participation in the event.
By registering, performers confirm they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
